Inspired by the field recordings, sound materials and memories i gathered during a 2 month stay in Costa Rica.
This record hosts the feelings and textures we all weathered while working out there; predominately rain, animals, laughter, electricity and exhaustion.
All of those materials were gathered, brought back home to Colorado, and processed through a four track tape machine. The album was made with tape loops, micro-cassettes, field recordings, synths, VHS tapes, sequencers, $2 thrift store microphones, and a continued state of mental fatigue and inescapable exhaustion.credits
